Pope Takes On Gay Fascism

(Reuters) - Pope Benedict said Monday that saving humanity from homosexual or transsexual behaviour was just as important as saving the rainforest from destruction.

The Church "should also protect man from the destruction of himself. A sort of ecology of man is needed," the pontiff said in a holiday address to the Curia, the Vatican's central administration.

"The tropical forests do deserve our protection. But man, as a creature, does not deserve any less."

The Catholic Church teaches that while homosexuality is not sinful, homosexual acts are. It opposes gay marriage and, in October, a leading Vatican official called homosexuality "a deviation, an irregularity, a wound."

The pope said humanity needed to "listen to the language of creation" to understand the intended roles of man and woman. He compared behavior beyond traditional heterosexual relations as "a destruction of God's work....

THE CATHOLIC KNIGHT: There is no reason for practicing Catholics to fear the intolerant fascism of homosexualists. Those who protest Catholicism, simply for teaching the sexual ethics of Catholicism, are nothing but bigots. Yes, that's right, I said BIGOTS! Homosexuals are free to do whatever they want in the privacy of their own bedrooms without fear. But when homosexualists (whether they be gay or straight) push the so-called "gay lifestyle" down the throat of society, attempting to force others to call homosexual sex "normal," allowing sodomites and lesbians to get "married," they have become "homosexualists," and they've gone too far. Saving our society from them is just as necessary as saving the rainforest from land developers.

The Holy Father is right, and because he speaks the truth he is sure to suffer for it. The bigoted and intolerant homosexualists will surely attack him just for defending Catholic teaching, but these same cowards will never attack Islam for fear of what Muslims will do in reprisal. The ONLY reason why they attack the pope, Catholicism, and Christianity in general is because they know we will live by the civility our religion teaches us. They know they have nothing to fear from us. Which is why they attack us so ferociously.

I would love to see them attack Islam with similar zeal. Ah! but that would require courage. We shouldn't expect such things from this group.
